AKM (7.62-mm Kalashnikov modernized), adopted in the year 1959 to replace the AK and its further development.

AKMS-AKM with folding metallic Buttstock forend down under. Stock system was modified compared with the AKS. Butt raised for approaching the stop point to the line of fire. Modification is specially designed for paratroopers.
